The

Medikbio Malondialdehyde (MDA) Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog No. MDAAB00003) is a high-affinity mouse IgG1 antibody designed for precise detection of Malondialdehyde, a key biomarker of lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress. MDA is widely recognized as one of the most stable and reliable indicators of oxidative damage, commonly elevated in conditions such as breast cancer, lung cancer, diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases (including Alzheimer’s), and chronic inflammation.

This monoclonal antibody is produced using a KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide derived from MDA and purified through Protein A chromatography, ensuring excellent specificity, clean background, and strong signal intensity across multiple assay platforms. Compatible with Western Blot, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry, this antibody enables sensitive detection of MDA adducts in tissues, cells, and chemical samples—making it a powerful tool for oxidative stress research, toxicology studies, disease progression analysis, and lipid damage monitoring.

MDA forms protein and amino acid adducts that can cause DNA crosslinking, contributing to mutagenesis and tissue-level damage. This antibody helps researchers accurately identify and quantify MDA accumulation in biological samples, supporting studies in redox biology, carcinogenesis, aging, metabolic disorders, and environmental toxicology.
